LIQUID STEEL / LIFE

hudson river pier 102 - west 60s in manhattan - was destroyed by fire years ago; now an amazing and highly unusual experience: a mess of steel - left over from the original structure - twisted, bent, intertwined and warped . . . .

. . . . twisted, bent, intertwined and warped by the intense heat of the fire - approx. 30.000 sqft of that. makes me think of reality not readily comprehended as in an another dimension. makes me wonder about particularities of the atomic, sub-atomic and/or molecular structures necessary for life formation as we know it and of life we are not aware of.
